🍕Slice Club @ Two Boots

Daiya Foods is hosting its first popup for its new Slice Club @ Two Boots in West Village. This event will feature a free Daiya plant-based pizza of your choosing: Meatless Pepperoni, Cheeze Lover's, Fire-Roasted Vegetables, Supreme, and BBQ Plant-based Chick'n Style.

I have only had plant-based pizza once in my life… (bc obviously i’m at Scarrs every week 🫣…) BUT this seems like a great opportunity to try something new and learn more about plant-based options.

🎼 NYU Orchestra Inaugural Concert

David Bloom will be conducting the NYU Orchestra Inaugural Concert at the brand-new Iris Cantor Theatre this Friday. This will feature the winner of the 2023 Woodwind Concerto Competition, Matthew Fontana. This concert will also feature works by Jimmy Bellido and Florence Price.

I love attending NYU Orchestras! These are great for date nights and solo nights! This event is open to the public and you do not need to be a student. I don’t quite know how often tickets sell out but I was able to reserve a ticket for myself with no issues 🙂

🎃 Free Halloween Roundup

There are tons of Halloween events happening next weekend throughout the city. Making a short list of cool events that came across my radar 👻 I will be super active on my Instagram story this week posting about more free Halloween events that pop up!

(10/25) Must Love Dogs Singles Mixer, Halloween Edition — Meet dogs and their single parents! (RSVP)

(10/28) BKLYN BOO! — Slime making, subway therapy, live music (RSVP)

(10/29) Doggie Costume Party and Contest — Dog costume party and contests with prizes! (RSVP)

(10/29) Halloween Extravaganza & Parade — Located on Roosevelt Island featuring food, music, pumpkin decorating, and fun amusements (RSVP)

These past few weeks have been rough with the weekend rain but hoping this upcoming weekend will be more dry with all the Halloween events happening.
