👋 When writing the newsletter this week I had some great free events that got sold out before I was able to hit send such as Summer Party @ Public Records and an Artist Workshop @ Superchief Gallery so going forward I will be posting more on the MeetupNYC’s Instagram when I get super limited events on my radar.

🐝 Bumble x James Beard Foundation Mixer

Bumble has partnered with the James Beard Foundation’s Women’s Leadership Programs to support women in hospitality. This event welcomes everyone and there will be sips and bites to eat provided by the hosts. This event is 21+ and super limited to the first 100 that arrive.

🧀 Summer of Slices Pop-Up

Tillamook, yes, the cheese brand is hosting a pop-up at Hudson Yards where they will have a live DJ and be giving away free burgers. Cooking demos and slider sampling available while supplies last Monday 4-7pm and Tuesday 12-3pm.

TBH, if you work in the area… the lineup of famous chefs and getting a burger from them Monday after work seems like a great Monday pick-up. (assuming the lines aren’t crazy long)

💆‍♀️ Ceremonia Flagship Soft Opening

Community-Only Soft Opening on June 29th of Ceremonia’s new flagship store in NYC featuring hair styling (unsure if free last past events), refreshments and an exclusive Guava Summer gift with purchase. Looking on their instagram, the space looks super awesome with bright yellow walls.

I’ve seen Ceremonia at Sephora and doing some research on them, Ceremonia is known as a clean hair care brand rooted in Latinx heritage. If I attend this event I will probably give their products a try!

🌳 Bonus: Mean Girls, Movies in the Park

I usually only post 3 events a week but Mean Girls will be shown at Bryant Park tomorrow!!! Paramount+ movies in the park has been killing it this year with the vibes. Going to try and make it to this one!
